At our integrated clinic and pharmacy in Vancouver’s Chinatown, we don’t just deliver care—we contribute to it. Through our partnership with UBC researchers, we’re part of a powerful movement to understand and address the complex health needs of marginalized populations, including residents of the Downtown Eastside.
Understanding Brain Injury in Vulnerable Populations
Our research team is investigating how traumatic brain injuries affect people experiencing housing insecurity and multiple chronic conditions. Many of these individuals are underserved in traditional healthcare systems, and we’re working to change that.
Real Assessments, Real Lives
We help administer evidence-based tools like the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), depression screening (PHQ-9), psychiatric evaluation (PANSS), and more to gather meaningful insights into cognitive and mental health challenges in the community.
Creating Impactful Health Programs
Our research doesn’t stay on paper. It feeds directly into how we care for patients—from designing better screening methods to offering new therapeutic programs for those affected by addiction, trauma, or chronic illness.
We’re proud to be part of a health system that listens, learns, and evolves. When you walk through our doors, you’re stepping into something bigger: a clinic where your experience helps shape a better future for everyone.
